At the age of 9 Win wrote his first piece of music

Ikutaro Kakehashi, president of ROLAND visited a presentation where
Win played guitar. He became enthusiastic about it and told the press,
that Win was one of the most innovated guitarists, he had ever heard
Mr. Kakehashi invited Win and Jennifer to be representatives for the
Guitar Synthesizer Systems GR-700 on stage and at music fairs

Between 1991 - 2011 12 CDs were released under the name Win Kowa and KOWA
KOWA were invited to join compilations with Vangelis, Kitaro and Dido
KOWA also became part of the Café del Sol and Café del Mar series
KOWA went on producing commercials for international campaigns
KOWA achieved awards all over the world. The Gold Comprix in London,
the Golden Award of Montreux and Finalist of the Golden Globe in New York
Yahoo's Launch.com voted Win in the top-list of progressive artists
2008 KOWA received the GrIndie Music Award from RadioIndy for Scoring Tools
RadioIndy awards bands with their version of a Grammy Music Award
